HubForSport/About

Built by a grassroots team manager with 40 years in IT.

HubForSport comes from two careers that rarely meet: running grassroots teams week after week, and building and managing software. Dave Greene-Taylor has done both, and the product is shaped by both.

Software written by someone who has done the Saturday job

A team manager's week is a lot of small jobs: who is available, who is playing, who has paid, what the referee wrote, what the league needs by Monday. Twelve years of doing that at Bromley FC and Bromleians FC is where HubForSport's lineup, availability and matchday tools come from.

Forty years in IT management and development is why it is built the way it is. Each league, club and team sees only what its role needs, information is entered once and reused, and the live match tracker keeps working when the signal at the ground does not.

Three things we will not compromise on

Matchday first

Lineups, availability, the live tracker and the referee's match card are designed around what a team manager actually needs on a Saturday.

The league in view

Respect tables, discipline, suspensions and fines are there because leagues still run them on spreadsheets and email.

Careful with people's data

Players, parents and guardians see only their own information, and card payments are handled by Stripe, so card details never sit in HubForSport.

HubForSport is independent and is not affiliated with the Football Association or Full-Time. It launches in January 2027, and we are onboarding our first clubs and leagues now.
